Facing the challenge that by 2050 the world is going to be worried about feeding its population. Add to it many challenges that plaque the farming industry have to be overcome in order to meet the demand for more food. Farmers deal on daily basic with huge amounts of data that they have to interpret and act in accordance with.
The Xilbi’s FarmINg Support Tool (FINEST) is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Decision Support System (DSS) designed to support the farmers in their daily operations. FINEST will deliver a unique decision support platform that allows the user to develop daily operational activities in the farm field or greenhouse based on data driven recommendations.
FINEST was one of the 41 DIVA‘s first call maturation funded projects. It started on the 1st of April 2019 and ended on the 31st of December 2019.
This project has received funding from the Horizon 2020 DIVA Project.
